Lavita Basham is a freshman. She was born on March 1, 2007, in Kingwood, Texas. She use to live in Rye, Texas, but she moved to Saratoga about two years ago. She left West Hardin in fourth grade to go to Big Sandy and returned in seventh grade. She plays volleyball, basketball, track and her favorite sport, softball. She is also in speech and debate, and she loves reptiles such as snakes and geckos. Her hobbies include painting, fishing, playing video games and hanging out with friends. She wants to attend A&M University to get her degree and become a Texas Game Warden. She can't wait to see what the future holds.
