Off to a ‘Good’ Start

It’s a new year and the preschoolers at West Hardin elementary are starting off well.

This year is starting off “good,” preschooler Selah said.

This year the preschoolers will learn many things.

“ I teach them their letters and numbers, writing words and we do sight words,” preschool teacher Casey Burleson said.

The students also want to learn things on their own.

“ I want to learn colors,” said Deegan and “ learning letters, so I can read,” said Selah.

Burleson has many ways she would like her students to improve.

“ My goals are for them to develop social skills and be able to recognize their letters and numbers,” Burleson said.
