Dragon Ball Super: Broly review

Jimmy Tapley, Reporter

The movie Dragon Ball Super: Broly has high ratings and many other great things, so there is no surprise that this is one of the best movies by creator Akira Toriyama. The nostalgia and the animation make it seem like you are there in some instances. The story is a great one too.

It has heartfelt moments mixed with a lot of action. It starts with the main characters Goku and Vegeta finding out the magical wish-granting orbs known as Dragon Balls go missing, but it turns out their long-time enemy Frieza was behind it. Goku and Vegeta confront him about his thievery, then Frieza sends a warrior that is stronger than the main characters. Broly, the strong warrior, fights both the main characters and seemingly wins until they pull out their last resort and the powerful duo ultimately wins.

With the introduction to new characters and some old ones from past movies, this movie brings me back to when I was young on a Saturday morning and watching the original series. This movie is one of the best-animated movies I’ve ever seen.
