Due to the effects that COVID-19 has had on our community, it has been announced that this year’s cheer tryouts for the 2021-2022 football season will be held virtually.  

On March 22, the candidates will enter into a google classroom and they will be given one cheer and one chant to learn on their own time to avoid large group settings.

Candidates must spend at least 30 minutes a day practicing the chant, cheer, and their 3 best jumps. Instructional videos will be posted in the google classroom to help the candidates learn the material. 

When it is time, candidates will be recorded trying their hardest and showing off all they have worked hard for in the amount of time given to them to learn the materials. 

Friday, April 2nd is the “tryout day”. On that day, they will submit their videos to the google classroom and MUST be submitted by 3:30 pm. Administrators of the school, school personnel, and judges will review the videos of all candidates and the results will be posted at 5:00 pm.
