“Because of Winn-Dixie” Movie Review

“Because of Winn-Dixie” is an exhilarating movie. Watchers follow along as the main character India “Opal” Buloni learns, builds, and strengthens some of the most important relationships in her life.

10-year-old Opal moves with her father, also known as “Preacher” to a small Florida town. One day while Opal went to buy food at her local Winn-Dixie store, she met the most peculiar dog. She named him after the store, and after much debate, Preacher finally let her keep him.

Soon enough Opal and Winn-Dixie became the best of friends not only with each other but with the local librarian. Opal oftentimes would borrow books from the Library to go read to the “town witch”, who wasn’t much of a which at all but a blind elderly lady. These two women helped Opal establish and build a stronger relationship with Preacher.
