Dear Dad,

 When I sit back and think about all the countless memories we share together, I am convinced God knew exactly what he was doing when he chose you to be my father. I will forever love you for the guidance, comfort, and encouragement I received from you. The one man who taught me nothing is impossible was you. You always pushed me to reach my goals. Even when I was on the verge of giving up, you were right behind me to lift my spirits back up. 

 You are the most outstanding dad anyone could ever have. However, you are more than just a dad to me. You have been my playmate, hero, and mentor. You have been the one who always pushed me to grow into the person I am today. I can’t thank you enough for your constant love and guidance you showered upon me throughout the years. It means a lot more to me than you think.

Dad, you are the true meaning of love and sacrifice. You are always off in a different town or out of state working just to provide for your family. Words cannot express how thankful I am for you daddy. I know I don’t always show it, but I look up to you more and more every day. Without a doubt, I hope one day I get the chance to marry a man that is as great as you are. Someone who puts others first and loves his family unconditionally. 

As I look back at all the beautiful moments we have had together, I understand that my life could not have been better than it already is. As a dad, you have been a strong, caring, and hardworking man. I will always try my best to emulate some of your traits, so I too can set an example of myself like you did.
