Thank you family and community, Yulissa Bass

Dear Mom,

 To the woman who raised me to be the person I am today, I’m writing this thank you note to possibly the strongest woman I know: the person who will give her last dollar to help you out; possibly the sweetest and most caring person until you get on to me. 

 You are the strongest person I know. Watching you as I grew up made me realize how strong you are. Watching you struggle and make things happen for us was so hard but it made me realize how much you loved us. No matter how hard things got, you were able to give us what we needed. You always did your best and always will and I love and appreciate it.

You’re the person who made me who I am today. Every lesson or talks we got when we were growing up I will never forget. All the things you taught us about being good and how not to do bad has made me the person I am. Watching you struggle made me realize how I have to be strong and never give up because you never gave up. I hope one day I’m as strong as you are.

I am so happy I am able to have a mother like you. Merina and I love you very much.
