Thank you staff, Dillan Ray

Dear Mr. Tucker,
First thing first let’s start with this: thank you. Thank you for pushing me to be better, and all the experiences that i have had because of you and your teaching. I never knew how much fun I could have by going to school. I’m not one that likes change and band was the one constant class I always looked forward to.
It was in fifth grade when I moved to West Hardin and the classes I was taking mostly were about things I have already learned so when I went to your music class it automatically became the best class of my day. I had a music class before so it wasn’t totally new, but the way you taught it was way better than the people that have tried before. I can’t believe that I had so much fun playing a recorder of all things than in sixth grade when we got to use a real instrument I knew right then, that’s what I wanted to do.
Now that I am at the end of my school career and I’m looking back at it while writing this letter I can’t imagine how it would have been without your teachings. I would be a completely different person. You pushed us to push ourselves to try harder. The people that I have met through band that I would not have met are great and will be in my memory for many, many years. Thank you, Mr. Tucker for all the experiences and life changing moments.
Sincerely,
Dillan Ray
