Thank you staff, Baelynn Fenton

Dear Mrs. Peek,

From all the years I have been at West Hardin, you have been the most influential teacher I have ever had. You pushed all of us from the beginning of our senior year because you saw something in us that we didn’t see in ourselves at the time. You saw all of our futures before you when you looked upon us sitting in your classroom.

I will admit, being one of your students wasn’t always the easiest. I remember some days I would go to Mrs. Amanda’s office and cry to her because I was so stressed out or I would rant to her about some assignment you were making us do that I thought was just insane. However, looking back on it now I see why you did it. You were encouraging us to become a better version of ourselves. A version we never knew existed. You were pushing us to be the people we need to be as we get older.

I will forever be grateful to have been given the chance to be taught by you. You have helped me grow in many ways. However, there were some ways I didn’t realize I needed help until you became my teacher. Mrs. Peek, you have given me a better perspective on life. You also made me realize that life won’t always be easy, but the bigger picture will definitely be worth all the tough times.

Not only am I speaking for myself on this, but I think most people can agree that you have been the best teacher West Hardin has ever encountered. You never give up on your students even if they make it hard for you, and you always give them the benefit of the doubt. There is true love when you teach students and that is what I admire most about you as a teacher.

 Sincerely,

 Baelynn Fenton
