Thank you family and community, Kaylee Wortham

Dear My Girls,
You might be wondering what I mean by “ my girls “, but by that statement, I’m specifically talking about Annie, Cailyn, Brooklyn, Merina, Payton, Terra, Yullisa, and Mallorie. A confusing sentence only because I chose my non-family members to write this, the reason being is, they’re my happiness. My smile is brighter because of those girls. Individually their personalities are indescribable, bright, full of laughter, and encouragement. I want to say thank you to each and every one of them, so here I go.
Thank you, for the memories, even outside of school, every moment I spend with you girls I never leave without a laugh so hard I cry moment or a crazy unexpected adventure. I know I’m a senior and I’m leaving soon, but I will never take for granted everything you’ve done for me, and how just by being there fixes all my problems.
I can’t put into words how blessed I am for you guys. I have so much love for each one of yall. I chose you specifically because every single one of y’all is always on my mind and in my heart. Yes, I could be writing about a family member, but I decided to switch things up only because this is the last heartfelt letter I get to write as a senior, and I want to make it as memorable, meaningful, and heartfelt as possible, I did not want to waste this opportunity. All the unexpected “I miss you “ facetime calls, and the “I’m coming to get you and were going to get food “ trips, make me smile a lot harder, and make life with you guys so much more interesting, in a good way. Even though you didn’t help “raise” me, you still pushed me to be the better me and taught me to never give up on my dreams, and myself, and that is something I will cherish for eternity.
I’m running out of things to say because like I said, I can’t describe how blessed and all-around grateful I am for you girls. I just hope and pray that you understand the love I have for you. You guys have a special place in my heart and it will forever remain that way.
Sincerely,
Kaylee Wortham “ dub “.
