Thank you family and community, Hayden Powell

Dear Mom & Dad,
I have done it y’all. I have officially finished all 12 years of school.I know as your little girl you want more than the best for me in life. To see me grow up and do great things in my life. I know that something that’s important to anyone is their senior year. Working so hard and making memories I’ll treasure forever of my 12 years of school.
I know it breaks your heart having to see me go through this, and having to miss out on so much that a normal senior gets to do on their final month of being a senior.I’m not gonna lie it hurts me because it feels like it all was just ripped away from me so fast it’s hard to grasp that this is it this is how life is now and I can’t change the past, but just to start preparing for what the future holds for me.
Momma and Daddy, thank you so much for making me the strong young woman I am today. I know I can get through anything because I have the best support system at my side always.Y’all have both taught me I can do anything If I put my mind to it. Even though I know this is a very hard time for all the seniors I know that Gods in control and I have nothing to fear.I’ve been so blessed in life for having the best parents any girl could ever ask for and the best family to go along with that.
Someday when I’m older we are gonna look back at this time and laugh even though right now it hurts. My senior year class of 2020 is definitely the one for the books and will never be forgotten. I want both of you to know that I am going to be okay and this has just made me a stronger person and has taught everyone a lesson that nothings promised in life so never take anything for granted.
As I go to further my education at college and work to get my degree I want to make y’all proud. I am gonna work as hard as I’ve ever worked to be the best I can possibly be. I can’t thank you both enough for all you have done for me and everything y’all have ever taught me. I will always keep that with me with whatever I do in life to get me through any obstacle life throws at me. Life will always be challenging and it may sometimes try to get the best of me, but I know with God I have nothing to fear.”Fear not, For I am with you; Be not dismayed, For I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” -Isaiah 41:10. I love you both more than you’ll ever know and I will always be your little girl.
Sincerely,
Hayden Powell
