Dear Ruby Buffington,

Hey it is your favorite grandson, Jake. You have done so many things for me. You took me in when I needed it. You hold a very special place in my heart. I remember you helping me with my homework when I was just knee-high to a grasshopper. I also remember when my work got too difficult for you. I am so glad God chose you to be my grandmother. I couldn’t find anyone better myself. 

As I begin my life after high school, I know you are going to shed tears, but I’m here to tell you I’m always here for you. Just like you were for me. Words can’t express how much I love you. I hope I’m making you proud of everything I do.
