On the night of Dec. 19, the monthly school board meeting was held. During the meeting, performers were recognized, band students Bryce Rojas and Alicia Patton were recognized, and Sophie Enloe won the Christmas card decorating contest and earned $50 because of it. A surprise recognition was given to Mrs. Peek she has won the UIL sponsor of excellence award.
