Sugar Cookie recipe

This is a recipe I love to use when making sugar cookies, the fun part is being able to put the icing on it after it is done baking.
- 2 ¾ cups of flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- ½ teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 ½ cups of sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 ¼ teaspoon of vanilla
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- Stir the flour, baking soda, and baking powder together, then set aside.
- In a bowl cream/mix together the butter and sugar.
- Beat egg and vanilla in the wet mixture.
- Gradually add the dry mixture into wet mixture.
- Put dough into 1 inch balls on a pan that has parchment paper.
- Bake for 10 to 15 min, or until golden brown around the edges of the cookie.
Note: When you are rolling the cookie dough into balls you can roll the dough balls into some sugar, so when they come out of the oven they will have a sweet taste.
