There are 6 teams going to the Rice Belt District LDE contest on Nov. 5. 

Willa Brackin will compete in  Greenhand Creed Speaking.  In this event, a member presents the FFA Creed from memory and answers questions about its meaning and purpose.

Courtney Hebert will compete in Senior Creed Speaking . In this event, the competitor presents the FFA Creed from memory and answers questions about its meaning and purpose. 

Darren Dawkins, Willa Brackin, Madison Ruffino and Katheryn Merriwether will compete on the Greenhand Quiz Team,  and Jessica Holder, Courtney Hebert, JaKoby Holder and Adam Gilliland will compete on the Senior Quiz Team. This event consists of an exam testing knowledge of the Grays Guide to Parliamentary Procedure for FFA and FFA knowledge including history, facts, business structure, leadership and programs.

Jessica Holder, Cameron Musselwhite, Abbie Lamberth and Kaleb Griffin will compete as a Senior Skills Team.  In this event, a team of 3-5 members performs an actual demonstration of an agricultural skill including anything in the Agricultural Science and Technology curriculum while using effective public speaking and communication methods.

Gracelyn Hazelwood, Kami Maricelli and Kamden Browning are the Radio Team. This team presents an informative radio program covering one or more agricultural subjects that are current in nature and local in content. The contest assumes that the chapter has a regularly scheduled non-commercial radio program once each month over a local station.
