On Monday at 7:00 the annual bonfire was held.The band played a multiple songs as the cheerleaders entertained the crowd.

“I love that everyone attends and it’s one of the biggest nights of Homecoming week,” Cheerleader Cailyn Trousdale said.

Lots of people came from around the area to enjoy themselves and show some Oiler pride.

“I came to show my love for the school,” Quinton Whitestar said.

Everyone enjoys such a large fire, but precautionary measures had to be taken for the safety of the crowd.

“We bring in 2 brush fire engines with 5 people in their gear and are always on standby in case we are needed,” A firefighter said.
